The Junction, Cambridge

On Sunday 4th October, Silver Sun played at The Junction. Despite the venue being only about half full, there was still a good atmosphere going. The scene was set, with some music that sounded like it had been lifted from some dodgy 70's science fiction series coming from the speakers.

...Then it started. They played more or less one new song, then one old song. Of course, none of us had heard any of the songs from the new album, so the response was a bit muted. James sympathised with us on that though, so that was okay! The turning point of the set was probably when they played 'Lava' - one of the loudest, fastest, bestest songs ever written. It was a roller- coaster ride after that. For the encore, they played Julia, Too Much, Too Little, Too Late, and Trickle Down.

I can't remember anymore 'cos my ears are still ringing!

Pictures coming soon... Watch this space....
Cheers!
